The Quwan Technology Global Headquarters is a 175-meter tower now under construction in the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone of Guangzhou’s Haizhu District, bringing together about 100,000 square meters of headquarters offices, a professional esports arena and an AI innovation center for Quwan Technology, the company behind the voice social platform TT Voice. We believe our architectural facade lighting design can give the waterfront tower a calm, distinctive nighttime presence.
Two Lighting Modes
On ordinary evenings the tower reads as layered bands of soft light, while the terraces carry a magenta accent — the building’s signature color by night. The concept draws on three quiet themes: drifting clouds along the tower floors, wind moving across the facade, and flowering color at the terraces. On festival nights, saturation and motion step up, and art installations at the crown, terraces and podium join in for citywide celebrations.

A Dynamic LED Facade on the South Tower
The signature move is the lighting of south facade. LED luminaires concealed in the recessed joints of the curved curtain wall light each floor slab, so the source is never visible — only the light itself, moving. Three scenes are programmed: cloud-like patterns drifting randomly across the floors; whole floor bands brightening and dimming in horizontal waves; and lit floors accumulating upward from the base — a ceremonial scene for countdowns and openings.
Hidden LED Fixtures, Clean Architecture
A clean night image depends on invisible engineering. Three luminaire families were coordinated with the curtain-wall design:
Facade grooves: 15 W/m RGBW LED strips (5000 K white, 120° beam, IP65) set in 25 mm × 25 mm curtain-wall grooves, DMX512-controlled at 8 segments per meter, tracing the horizontal lines of the curved facade.
Terrace ceilings: 48 W/m linear LED wall washers (3000 K white channel, 45° beam, IP65) recessed in matching grooves, washing each terrace soffit in even light.
Terrace columns: 2 W LED points behind perforated cladding with 3 mm acrylic diffusers, individually addressed over DMX512 for subtle gradients or full-building scenes.
All three share one logic: fixtures live inside the architecture, and the facade speaks with light alone. When the tower tops out, Pazhou will gain a quiet, choreographed presence on the Guangzhou skyline.
